I found the whole experience of painting the cow for CowParade Ireland interesting and challenging. It was unlike anything I had ever undertaken in the past and I enjoyed painting some of my favorite characters and scenes in such an unusual situation. I love the idea of introducing art into public places and think the added dimension of cows as a backdrop takes away any preconceptions someone might have about how they view fine art. Im very pleased with the final result and the fact that I am part of something like this, which not only raises money for such good causes but also brings life and colour to the streets of Dublin, is a great honour.
